Our small team has grown in size to now include external pageDr. Jonathan Nunez who will join us as a postdoc for two years studying the impacts of microplastics on soil respiration. He brings with him significant expertise in understanding the role of biological activitity in the decoposion of organic matter in soils. Addionally, Alissa Tophinke will conduct her Masters thesis on the extraction of microplastics from soils, Fabienne Marie will study the heteroaggregation between natural inorganic nanoparticles and microplastics for her Masters and Silja Boner will work on understanding the ecocorona formation on microplastics as part of her Masters Internship. Looking forward to some exciting new science to come out in these next months and years!
